Just got home from work...damn I'm exhausted. I swear I was seeing things while driving on 280, crazy sleep deprivation hallucinations.... surreal It was so fun.

So that non-slip rug stuff is called "rug gripper".
You can get several different types & sizes at Home Despot. They're cheap too. Make sure you get the right kind though, cause there's one for gripping to hardwood floors, and another for carpets.
