I wake up at 6:38 am every morning without an alarm clock.
This is a phenomenon that I have never understood.
How can it be that my body knows when it is 6:38 am every day.
Well there was one morning that I slept until 10:00am or so. It was after that big string of babies that were born a couple of weeks ago. I was so excited 10:00. Can you imagine?
As you all know my life has been somewhat exciting. I have been busy with work, had family in town, and my stepchildren are here. It has just been absolutley crazy.
I think I complain about it a lot because I am an only child, female and Aries. I guess I like things to go my way and I am realizing when there is this much going on all at once, things are not always going to go my way.
The kids are fighting less. I haven't heard "You stepped on my freakin head you idiot" in a good couple of days. This is a huge improvement. Although, "shut up" is still the favorite with them all.
The 11 year old step daughter got into trouble yesterday for being inappropriate on the internert.
Her mother let her get a myspace page, which I totally disagree with. She decided to repost this bulletin...

[ ] My friend
I get that some of it is very cutesy. I don't however like the questions about slapping and sleeping in the same bed. She is 11 for fucksake.
So I had her father have a talk with her. He says she didn't know, it was just something that she reposted. He is a bit of a push over.
I on the other hand, know exactly what the fuck she is up to. I was a young girl with to much freedom. I remember wanting to get boys attention and acting olderr than I was. What did that get me????? Well, rape at 12 years old. So I am a bit sensitive to the daughter seeking boys attention. Plus I recently found out my friends son, who is 13, is trying to get girls to "DO IT" with him. ewwwwww. He emails her. fuck, shit, piss, hell... alkfj;oawieht apwret9u3qp490u typw9r08tupaoihgaoshfgal;shfg
HOLY HELL
I'm a bit freaked out. Can you tell????
So ultimatley what I am figuring out is that it is very complex raising children. Even more so when you only see them during the summers only and you are trying to make a positive impact.
On another note... well actually more of a sidebar. This actually sparked a very positive conversation between her mother and I, whom have had tension for several years now. I guess she figures we better stick together for this one. As neither one of us want our children experienceing rape, teen pregnancy, of police troubles. So maybe this was all a good thing.
She sent me this...

> EVEN FORWARD THIS TO PEOPLE WITHOUT KIDS SO THEY CAN SEND
> IT TO FRIENDS THAT DO HAVE CHILDREN OR GRANDCHILDREN
Some people repost bulletins and send email "Forwards" just to do it, which is stupid!
So even if she did or didn't know what she was doing, she knows now. So no excuses next time.
