Awww, don't be sad, life's too short for that! As for your canary, that's bad, but maybe, just maybe he's enjoying freedom and discovering new outdoor smarts he never even knew he had. Heck, he may be outwitting those magpies as I type this! By strange random coincidence, I saw a lady carrying a huge cage with a pretty canary in it just earlier today.
