Wrapping up another weekend. Just finished watching The Day After Tomorrow for the firts time. It was entertaining. Some parts were silly, but the special effects were amazing. All in all it's a fun movie.
Woke up today to hear bagpipes outside my window. I blew it off as a fluke. Later on I heard the sounds of police directing traffic. I figured there was a baseball game or something today which meant I needed to check if I had to pay for my parking spot. I went outside to start walking to the ATM and that's when I realized there was a parade. It's been a long time since I've seen one of those. But growing up in Louisiana I've certainly seen my fair share. So I walked along the route as I made my way to the ATM. There were people drinking, marching bands, horses, and what parade would be complete without the clowns. Not just any clowns too, they were riding on unicycles and in full St. Patricks Day makeup. Surely these clowns just got off of their full-time jobs of starring in the nightmares of little children.
It was interesting spectacle to say the least. Although I thought it was a bit too much just to celebrate my middle name
In an urelated note, MusicBrainz continues to kick much ass for me.
3,364 ID3 tags cleaned up and counting. My music collection is starting to shape up. The next task, which is a bitch, is to try to classify this stuff into genres and sub-genres. The more genres I try to understand, the more new ones I discover. It can be maddenning for an organizational freak like myself
Don't misinterpret that to mean I'm a neat freak, there is a definitely a difference
Ah well that's enough journaling for now. It's time to hit the bed and embark head first into the new work week.

I liked that movie too. The plot was sort of silly if you really think about it, but I couldn't quit watching.
