Was it all a conspiracy?
Tell me I'm a big boy now, I can take it. It's cold outside for the first time this season and I just find myself in thought. This happens winter hits and I withdraw from reality and my mind starts going crazy! Observations, things I notice, I'm just rationalizing, do I make sense? No? Let me know if I start to. Gas is currently 2.12 for 9/10's a gallon, in 1998 it was 89 cents an all time low, due to an oil surplus, so what I want to know is how did it all change? Everyone goes with the big business is driving up the price for purely self serving needs, like money, and power, but you know as much as I entertained it I didn't believe it. I'm not one for the big scary scenario, the beast, and microchips in our hand but now more than ever it seems that the mass crazy majority is suddenly right? I'm still not making sense am I? Crashing cymbals! How about now. I'm worried about more things on a global level. Ecology and stuff like that. I know, and trust me I understand your thinking. The guy that says ecology and stuff doesn't exactlymake the most serious of eco-crusaders. But I'm sorry I grew up in the eighties Reaganomics, and belief I was going to die in a nuclear war has made me apathetic, but only on the outside, the question is what do I do now. I can see the problems. The SUVs, man I hated those things from day one. To me they were really clunky looking, but you see they were never regulated as to emission standards and fuel efficiency, so these big clunky boxes that I can't see around on the road, suck up the gas and pollute like no car has ever before, Which adds to globals warming, which raises the temperature, makes ice caps melt, and drowns polar bears. It also makes in 70 in December, and I live in New Jersey. There was a time before all this where by this time in the year I would have a foot of old snow on the ground and be wearing a big winter coat. And Snow men and Igloos would dot the landscape. Or is it all a conspiracy? Did the world change or was I just manipulated into a different way of thinking, complete with a different view on the way things use to be. Did our parents sell us up the river? Was teen angst bullshit? Do I really even care now? Well I care about the Polar Bears.
