You may have noticed I have changed my name. It was EVNadelaide, but I have changed it to OzOtaku.
EVNadelaide is dead. EVN was my DJ name in Adelaide. I started DJ'n in Adelaide in 1995 and was well known for playing Jungle/ Drum n Bass. In early 2009 I was introduced to Dubstep and with my ex-wife promoted a number of events as "SWAGGA" including bringing DATSIK to Adelaide. Recently i recorded a going away mix/ Retirement mix - not my greatest work at all, but just needed to get stoned one last time and mix one last time before i moved on with bigger and better directions in life. You can Listen to my mixes and some of my tunes at my soundcloud
But due to my job, which includes random testing my love for the weed has taken a back seat and due to my job my work hours mean I dont have time to DJ or produce/ promote parties like I used to.
So now I have changed to Oz Otaku which is my xbox gamertag. To be honest, due to work i don't socialise much these days and I do spend a good amount on Manga/ Anime including the occasional figures.
OTAKU = Young people who are highly skilled in or obsessed with computer technology to the detriment of their social skills. (Is one meaning and with my obsession with Anime/ Manga and playing Xbox online, along with the internet it seems to fit)
