IF I ruled the world. Three rules I would make ( and I do not like rules very much) I'm more of a libertarian, I believe too many rules gets things messed up but I also know that people need some sort of organization.
1 I would make a rule that a huge percentage of money goes to building really nice schools in Africa, the us, everywhere because they need improved all over!!! And have better pay to teachers so we have better quality teaching and school environment. the funding that goes towards prisons goes to schools instead, and making them better and safer for all the kids.
2 all the people going to prison are simply angry or sad because the system doesn't work. So I would have facilities for people in prisons that have mental health counselin, yoga, and professors or teachers to help the inmates find and discover their passion. educate then reach their goals. the teachers and counseling would help each person figure out what he or she really wants to do and get them all doing something they love. This would decrease crime immensely. They would then have apprenticeships for a year then go off on their own. I would turn the prisons into alternative health facilities that are freeing these people from the vicious cycle that the police system and prison system, and education system has them caught in. in Germany, they gave each person a chunk of money, and they used it to build a business that they love, this is what we would do with a portion of all that prison money, is give the inmates ( once they have done their schooling and found their passion a chunk of money to grow a healthy life for themselves, and if they fail, they go back to the facility. Until they are ready. So basically no more prisons except if a child molester or serial killer will absolutely not change there would be a small portion for those who just couldn't change and were dangerous. But today most the inmates have potential, passions, education, and are in there for making mistakes that simply were out of the ordinary for them. Perhaps they just got a divorce. Or got in with the wrong croud, or were try to save their house and make money fast for their family ( breaking bad)
3 I would take away governments all over the world away, spread land into territories that have three sections with a group of three people who make decisions on how to keep each third functioning. My dad read this book about how the size of an society works better if it's smaller, but not too small, and with three leaders instead of just one power hungry man or woman. This way. They work together to keep the main chunk functioning, but each third can alter there rules based on the land, the work available , the people, etc . This way. There are rules that are more appropriate for each small area in the world. These people would not need huge corporations to run the world, they would not have huge pig killing facilities, they would be able to buy food from other territories and help give money to each other with a universal currency.
