I start my drive to my new home tomorrow. This has been a busy year. I have been away most of it training to go to then actually going to Afghanistan, then coming back to hastily buy a house (which is in my photos check it out) and now moving.
It's getting so hard to restart my life every few years, I don't know how much longer I can do it. People say there are pros and cons of moving with family or being single. At least with family you have support on the other end, you know someone, some cares...going single, you're all alone and have to build relationships that you know you'll have to walk away from in 4 to 6 years.
Yesterday the movers took the last of my things out of my condo, a place I've lived in for over 5 years (the longest i've lived in one place since I left my childhood home over 17 years ago. It was very hard. Saying goodbye to my roller derby team and other friends around the area was very hard.
