well i just saw the movie closer. i don't go to the movies very often but this one was well worth it. i admit that i wanted to see natalie portman as a stripper, but also the movie was garnering rave reviews and i was actually interested in the movie itself. both natalie and the movie didn't disappoint. first natalie.... my oh my did she rock that thong! she looked absolutely gorgeous, and the sexual tension of those scenes were unreal. but actually it was her performance that was just as amazing, and pumped blood to the heart of the story. actually clive owen and jude law both gave incredible performances too. julia roberts wasn't bad, but not as good as the others. this was a movie that i enjoyed. it is a movie that i don't totally understand, but it seemed purposeful, and i was never bored during it, and that is worth something during this age of garbage hollywood. i think to fully understand it i'll have to look closer.
