now that the election has ended and america has voted for george bush i think that all of those people who voted for bush are very misinformed or misguided. and a great many of them are probably dimwits too, just like our president.
i went to ralph naders website today. it shows the many ways that the actions of ralph naders career affect our daily lives. you can view this here after reading this, i had to ask myself what has john kerry or for that matter george bush done that would make them such worthy men to be president? ralph nader has spearheaded the clean water act, mandatory airbags for vehicles, has fought to clean up the environment, has fought for workers rights. where are george bush or john kerry's long list of achievements? what are any of their achievements? ralph nader is a man of the people. why anybody wouldn't look at what he's done during his career and not vote for him, i do not understand.
i also don't understand how anybody can be so patriotic about either two of the major candidates? voting for either of them is simply voting for the lesser of two evils. they both cater to corporate interests instead of serving the people.
american government is corrupt and disgraceful. i can only hope that some day things will progress beyond this sad state.

nothing but bicker and speculate about what the other has or hasn't done. i voted for kerry though...i think we just have got to get rid of w. mmm...i love interpol.
i voted for bush and it irritates me that my intelligence is insulted on a daily basis for admitting it. i'm not saying that i am necessarily annoyed by your journal, after all it IS your journal and you can have whatever opinion you want. but do you really think that even if kerry or nader (who was only on the ballot in something like 32 states) was elected, everything would be peachy and bright?
i'm not sure where i'm going with this, but everyone around here (SG) is so morose that i'm curious as to see what they thought would happen differently.
