Since I have no friends here in LA, I'm sharing this bit of personal good news with you anonymous strangers, as it seems sad that I should be the only one who knows it. I got a glowing performance review yesterday. My supervisor said that I surpassed all his expectations. He said that there was trepidation within himself and within the senior engineering core about giving me the amount of responsibility they gave me on 'GoldenEye' last year, but I surprised and impressed them all by delivering on the tasks I was assigned.
'Your talent and experience, combined with your incredible work ethic, makes you, in my mind, one of our strongest level I Software Engineers. I expect that you will reach level III in a relatively short period of time.'
Yeah, so I'm happy with my professional life. Now, about my social life...

I hear you about prof/social life. The balance of life sometimes sucks. Good always followed by something bad. Anyway good job on the review.
