It looks like I will be a dateless wonder for Thursday.
My friend started a job at City-TV last week. She spends her days stretching photos of boobs and penises for SexTV, and watching Harold Hosein smoke up before the CityPulse newscast. Gosh, I miss home.
Damn, mainstream TV down here is so fuckin' whitewashed. I know identity representation is old-school 90s politics, but still, I find it irksome that you don't see minority characters on TV shows who are not stereotypes. It's a fucking 'Friends' world in Dubya's America.
In other news, I find it irritating when people, who have ignored me initially in a party situation, start chatting me up and making the friendlies when they find out I program video games. I despise the obvious ass-kissing.
BTW, the video game industry needs more women.
