OK People this is the deal.
I am Producing/Directing a little shoot about Body Modification. I am trying to put together a 15 min Teaser that i will use to shop around the show idea. The goal is a half hour show about how different forms of body manipulation are done and why people do it. It's the WHY part we are really focussing on. The show will be aimed at people who don't understand why we do this. Look at it this way it's not so I have a better understanding, it's so my mother will. I have never liked that people assume that i and people like myself who embrace this culture are viewed as deranged or defective. I want to dispel that myth. But to do that i need help.
On the weekend of the 9th I will be in Nor Cal shooting. We need some volunteers to be on film getting pierced. We will be shooting in a piercing studio in San Jose. The date is still a little up in the air because we are working around the schedule of two other friends that we are shooting doing a suspension in Big Sur. For anyone willing to take part and work within are loose schedule i will buy your jewelry. (to a point of corse, please don't kill me and ask for something gold covered in diamonds. I am a starving filmmaker for crying out loud) The piercer is donating his time so the actual piercing will also be free. Not a bad deal really. So if your interested please let me know.
