Today i took my first step into the adventures of cider fermentation. In about 6 weeks i will be the proud parent of 3 gallons of hard cider. I'm expecting to lose one gallon though. I ran out of apple cider so i tried a cider cranberry mix. I still didn't have enough liquid so i added a small can of pineapple juice. I am pretty sure the pineapple juice will be to acidic and kill the yeast. I will keep you posted and let everyone know if it's good.
