Dating your best friend: Good idea or bad idea?
Once upon a time, I dated someone who was practically my best friend at the time (or at the very least, someone I could always count on to make me smile and comfort me when times got rough). That was a mistake that almost killed me (quite literally) and since then things were never the same between him and I. We lost that close bond we had, and even though he would still travel across the city just to listen to me talk about my problems, it just didn't feel the same anymore.
Now my current best friend means the world to me. I'm incredibly loyal to him and I make him happy (not just in the penile area, haha). He's supportive and treats me with affection and kindness. He'll even defend me when bitches try to bring me down.
Our friends and family think we're dating/think we should be dating, but we keep resisting the idea to take that leap to uncharted territory. Personally, my biggest fear is losing my best friend if we do take that leap. He fears it'll ruin a good thing (he had a similar situation where he dated a good friend and their friendship was ruined after they broke up).
Most days I'm okay not being in a relationship with my best friend, but there are days where I just can't help but wonder what if...
I wish life had a restore point, so when shit hits the fan, you could always just go back to that moment and not change a damn thing.
Anywho, I can't stop watching this vid just for the 30 secs of booty and bewbs in the beginning, hehe.
