How does the saying go? "You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make it drink it."?
Asking someone to make a change in their lifestyle is one thing, but not knowing how to get them to change is another.
Then again, you also can't force someone to change, you can only change yourself.
I've had enough of crashing over on someone's couch in room full of people simply because they don't care enough to get their own room and bed in their own freaking house. If they cared so much about going to bed and waking up next to me, they would at least have the courtesy of making the experience comfortable.
Not to sound like a princess, but it just doesn't seem fair at all to cater to someone else's needs if they won't be considerate of my needs. Either get your own room and bed that I can sleep in and have private, intimate moments with you, or I'm just not going to stay over anymore. Not only am I concerned about my own comfort and sleep but I'm tired of listening to you whine about how uncomfortable it is to cuddle me on the couch or how exhausted you are because you can't get the sleep you need when your friends are over.
If my company means that much to you, hopefully you'd do something about it.
