Okay so today has not been an overly pleasant day... work started out how it normally does, very boring, with me wishing I could be anywhere else. I have been working on a project for the last several days and had just finished the first major part of it when I was informed that the information I had been given was faulty and could not be used. Knowing that a coworker has now wasted several days worth of my time is infuriating enough and the fact that I will have to work with him again when we get new information is even more frustrating. So when the long, arduous day of staring at a computer screen and trying to calm clients down has finally ended I come home to my lovely kitties having thrown up right in my entry way. Stepping in kitty puke did not add to my pleasure, nor did cleaning it up.
I have a few books waiting at the library so I go there and then over to the Sac State campus to pick up my cap and gown for graduation. I get to the appointed destination 2 minutes after they have closed and although there is still someone sitting there they refuse to help me.
Now I am on campus an hour and a half early for class and not really in the mood to sit through three hours worth of very boring lecture on a vry boring text, but of course as I am already on campus I go.
The class did not disappoint, it was just as boring as usual with the odd colorful remark thrown in which would almost make it worth it if only they happened a bit more frequently. So after sitting for three hours in a cathartic state I am now bursting with energy so I call a few friends but no one wants to hang out; its too late, if you had called earlier
. So I get to my car to discover that someone has decided to run into it causing rather a large amount of damage, and wouldn't you know, no note. So now on top of the lovely day I've already had I have to come home and make a police report, knowing full well that nothing can be done about it, and I will end up having to pay for the damage myself.
Is there any way to turn back time so today never happened?
