So class started today. First assignment was to describe a cd or dvd cover as descriptively as possible in 300-500 words. I generally have no problem writing, but I wrote this and then rewrote it about 20 times trying to get it right. Guess I'm just nervous since it's the first assignment and I'm not 100% sure what to expect. I picked the There Will...

I took the whole damn ride
with my best friends by my side
the days turned into nights

cuz nothing stays no way, no how

the only thing that lasts forever
is right fucking now

Totally unrelated, but .. I have been DYING to just slip a little "Lol." into Matt's OMGFRUSTRATION statuses in the last two days. And have resisted. Until I saw this morning's:

I don't have time to argue with the mundane any more. I have a life.

Which is not only frustrated and hilarious, but SO ironic and .. just, that little "Lol." [or like button] would be deliciously passive-aggressive. I need to do it!

Whiiiich is why I'm here, typing to you instead. Resist, resist. Because I never comment on that shit [wuddup, bigger personnnnnn] .. but that would just -ignite- him.

XD Which I kind of want to see.

I am a mountain that has been moved.

So those of you familiar with that song know it's sort of a song of defeat, but I want to steal that first line. I'm a stubborn creature of habit, but lately I've exploded in a thousand different directions. This has happened some times before, but usually weighted with a fair amount of anxiety. I feel pretty...

When these warm days coincide with revelation [or bring one about], I get downright manic. We both know [if peripherally] that the warm days will recede again.. so why -not- "run with it" in the meantime? Gogogo.

I've been setting goals lately. A fuck ton of goals. Somehow though I've been tearing through them and really surprising myself as of late. Everything for school I got tackled fast and efficiently, now I'm sort of in an idle hands stage. Got a few work related things that I usually put off to the last minute done and out of the way. Might even...

Ohh. That looks / sounds familiar. I wonder if that's what I was thinking about.. though I keep not thinking so. But that is pretty straight forward, so I will have to side with you in being happy there are now two potential albums now. :] Kind of. :/

The only problem is that GT5 is still running on the same old broken networking coding that was in GT4. What is that you say? GT4 had no online? It did but it got shit canned because the online support was written in japan where they have gigabit internet so when that came over here to our 5 megabit internet and Foster City was testing it with San Diego and getting the worst lag ever, they canned the online.

They didn't learn from their mistakes, released prologue with the same networking code thinking that our internet had to have gotten faster by now and people found out how to clip through cars drafting off their ghost cars. Or the game would just lag out and everyone but the host was pissed off.

If the game comes out it will either have no online or broken online. The series plateaued at 3 and I don't think they are going to be able to top it by adding eye toy gimmicks.

This one will be quick, honest.

Last year I raised money for a charity called Memory Walk, which raises money for Alzheimer's research. It happened at sort of a busy intersection in life with our wedding and everything going on, so I didn't really get to give it my all. This year they've put up the dates for the walks, and the one in my...

Random update time. Valentine's Day was really good this year. Our stay in and relax idea went really well. We slept in, woke up around 1. Went to Panera to get some lunch. Looked up a recipe we both decided would be delish, and went to the grocery store to get some ingredients....

Horray for everything!

I loved this line: It's like it vibrates on the same frequency I do, and we just match up. -- this is exactly, exactly how I feel about certain things ..

New York sounds epic. Good planning; kudos.

And, the obligatory fuckthesnow comment -- as, I'm sorry, but wtf is with it still going? I mean, .. that's all I'll say. Really.

Oh. Oh. Oh. And. I totally just got what you were saying.. was distracted by the song, and my misunderstanding of what you were talking about before. But, I really liked that movie.
chrysis:
The movie gets long. But it gave me a really funny tickle in my stomach.. in the good, kind of profound / uncomfortable way. I didn't expect it.
