I finally beat Arkham Asylum. Took me long enough, but having to start over after getting halfway through didn't help either.
New monitor is on the right. Picked that up and a new 1TB external drive so we can back up our school work, pictures, music, etc. The monitor is 24", so I went from 17"-24" and it's taking a little getting used to, but I'm loving it.
Talked to school again on Saturday, I got everything I needed to get done for the time being, so they uploaded me some more stuff to fill out and I sent most of that in already. Waiting to hear back on a loan application or two and then I think I'm set until classes actually start in March. It's been fairly crazy, but I've been consistently excited.
We're having a superbowl party on Sunday. Last year it was a handful of people, not really into football, so it was mostly to watch the commercials. This year a good number of people have mentioned possibly coming, so it could be a fantastic time.
A guy we work with is moving to Florida next week, so Friday night when we get off work we're going to hit the strip club and give him a proper send off. He's a little special and we're not entirely sure he's seen a naked girl before, so that should prove interesting.

If it were one or two people, or even .. if the ratio was more one-sided [or like, back when I thought it was, because I figured IT HAD TO BE] .. I would take these things on.
But now, the numbers are just purely exhausting. I can't chip at the Great Wall of China with my thumbnail of facts. Because all they have to do is say "Nope, don't care, don't care, don't care, you're wrong, I say so, conspiracy!" and there is simply no arguing with it. There is no arguing with .. denial. It's not their reason against mine; it's something purely made up versus the actual fact of the matter -- and I mean, how do you even go about that?
You fucking don't.
But on a sidenote --
Did you watch the thing after the State of the Union, where Obama agreed to the Q&A with House Republicans? Because THAT was amazing, and I'm sooooo glad the White House asked it get televised. It cleared up so much of the bullshit & shenanigans.
