Now, what have I been up to?
I started school today, WOW am I in for one rollercoaster ride of a semester! It should be interesting. The one class i'm looking forward to is my gym class, which is a weekend long nature retreat where we hike, learn tai chi, pilates, yoga, and how to give decent massages. Most people pay for couples vacations with this kind of theme, and i've managed to get it to get marked on. Awesome.
I'm caught up a little in the women's center business, I swear to God, life is more difficult when you're working solely with women! I love the feminist side of it, especially in the counselling, but every time I get around the workers I feel like i'm in a kindergarten class. That's another story, though. Tomorrow, I have to give the friend who got me the position a rather negative evaluation. I said at the beginning of this experience that I would not do anything that would hurt our friendship, so here goes! On verra.
I spent the weekend in TO painting and putting together a condo, which was nice exept for the highway that was CLOSED on the way home. But I made it back in time for school, so it wasn't too unfortunate of an experience. I laughed all weekend, i've needed that for a while.
I've been shopping a LOT. I bought a new phone, a new ipod, new boots. All my electronics are audacious shades of pink. It's pretty super, very cheery, but i'm starting to come of as a little more of a valley girl than I usually do. Who fucking cares.
Speaking of PINK- you should all go check out Trouble_'s newest set. She's one of my ladies and deserves alllll the attention in the world!
Q&A time!
1- What is your favorite subject of study?
2- If you could do only one thing all over again, what would it be?
3- Do you write anyone hand-written letters? Or is that a thing of the past?
