Gigged last night at a combined 50th birthday, all were punks back in the day who had a band and their band played, lots of fun. A long gig for me, with four sets and two really quick changes but got some big laughs and the general consensus was that all there enjoyed themselves. I always find combined gigs like this difficult a bit of music, stop, some comedy, stop back to the music. I think the audience just gets into one mode and then are asked to switch, stop laughing now dance, now stop dancing and laugh. Anyone else have any thoughts on that?
Soon to be off on the Coyote Rally which will be fun, four days, Calais>Paris>Munich>Prague>Amsterdam and then are going to have a day in Bruges on the way home and then Dunkirk and back to Blighty, all in all a fun tour of Europe. I'm going with Tikitequila (my wife!) and a non SG friend who's really cool so pics of the ensuing mayhem when we get back. C'mon it's gonna be awesome! Across Europe in a sub 500 car, hehehehe.
Calais here we come!
