gees mate you know how to pick em, are you sure that you even want to get involved with someone that has aspergers, this can be a really difficult disorder to deal with and may not be the only psychological condition affecting your friend. In fact, it is frequently together with other problems such as:

Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
Oppositional Defiant Disorder (ODD)
Depression (Major Depressive Disorder or Adjustment Disorder with Depressed Mood)
Bipolar Disorder
Generalized Anxiety Disorder
Obsessive Compulsive Disorder

Be careful mate and make sure you know what you are in for, before jumping into a relationship, because this one will never be easy, I am not saying it can't be rewarding but by the sounds of things you are already not receiving the support you seek and ultimately will need. People with aspergers can often have very high IQ's but lack in the EQ or emotional quota department.
Stay safe pretty girl and seek to understand yourself first only then will you know what you really want and need.

I learnt the hard way, but hey whatever way in the end we all learn.

Argh. I used a gift certificate for barns and noble to order the SG book, among other things. This was a Month ago.

They just sent me an email saying that they couldn't fill the order so they cancelled it. Their website still claims it ships in 2-3 days.

And they Didn't Refund my Gift Certificate!! Not that I want to order any more on...
