Spent EIGHT BLOODY HOURS today at Cook County Hospital, which I'm willing to wager is the Worst hospital in the ENTIRE country.

I spent my entire sophomore year of highschool sick. It all come to a head the day before my junior year started, when I felt so horrible I was screaming, had a 106 temperature and ended up in the emergency room, on an IV, getting a spinal tap.

man, that's not good. one time when i was 17 i felt really bad like that, i was sooo sick for like 3 days and my dad wouldn't take me to the doctor, and on the 4th day when he took me they said i had meningitis. so within the next 2 hours i had 3 spinal taps, and i started getting all weird. it sucked

but you have to get better, because i'm back in town!

Why am I always so sick??

I actually came home from work early, and skipped out on a play I've been looking forward to for months, I feel so crap.

In other news, anyone looking for a short-term place in Chicago? My roommates have done a crappy job of finding sublettors, and the place is still available for the month of June.
