Australia fascinates me. Everything about it. I think thats mainly due to my father's stories of Australia being some of the only real connections I have to him in my memory. Its been a reoccuring theme in my dreams (awake and asleep). Im very determined to go there some day. My mom loves australia as well. I remember her singing a song to me when I was a kid. My favorite lullabye. Kookaburra sits in the old oak tree, I think. I had little stuffed koala that played the song when you wound a metal key on its back. The bear was very liflike, as I recall, with fake claws that were jut sharp enough to make it a little uncomfortable to cuddle with.

Yeah, I took advantage of the huge social possibilities of college by befriending two brothers and not trying to meet anyone else. I still know them, they're still cool guys, but I was really fucking narrow, in vision and thought, to blow the opportunities.
