First, I’m not talking about Orlando. More so about the media coverage of it, and the collective well intentioned but pointless head nodding, and hashtag bullshit that follows things like it.

As a person who several times in his life has had taken away from him peers, friends, and family, by crime, hate, war, and outright stupidity, I have no fucking clue how to deal...

Looking over my three, I can see why most would be very reluctant to place me in charge of the world. If I had to sum up the why these three, because I would massively be discounting the lives of those in the present, for those in the future, not leaving them slaves to their ancestors past mistakes and pettiness.

I came across the brilliant and amazingly funny Erika DeoUdes' 'Calendar of Sexy Monsters', and her piece 'Nosfember' where she had a go at Klaus Kinski's version of Count Orlok from the Werner Herzog 1979 Nosferatu. All of her artwork is worth a look, so I'd say check her site out, especially the great stuff she did for her 2015 CoSM.

Erika's take

I love Charlie's tutorials, all practical, simple and fundamental. But more so, they are not railroad directions, but use a design he comes up with to help you develop techniques and skills to make your own designs come to life as he walks you through it.

Charlie's YouTube channel is worth a watch and sub

Last 9/11 rescue dog euthanised at sixteen

Thankfully her suffering from gradual geriatric kidney failure is over, and she was given the respect and honors she deserved.

Be pretty fucking fun I think to run an occult ritual LARP at my home one summer night. It is in the middle of a forest, and looks like a cabin where Ash would end up after reading from the Necronomicon. It be really entertaining to have people arriving in character, an just winging it. Hopefully, someday I am able to pull an event like

I still have had no time off with my wife. And still only seeing her for ten minutes a day if lucky. Today is beautiful about Puget Sound, the kind of day a family should be at the beach together. The sort of day where the people you love most are all gathered together to enjoy the Suns brightest and warmth, but more so that...

Dear Miss trying to make eye contact with me as you 'seductively' eat a corn dog... It isn't having the desired effect. No really, I'm pretty freaked out here that you have some canalbalistic wish to erotically consume a male organ is some sort of hard core vore fantasy acted out. I've now created an elaborate, and completely lacking any evidence or information, caricature of...

Maybe she's just really turned on by corndogs...
oldguyonbmx:
@iggy far be it from me to doubt the potential aphrodisiac that a pork product wrapped in pancake batter has the potential of. I'm sure if someone invented a bacon thong, I myself might be enticed to explore such culinary debauchery. That said, she had those creepy predator eyes, like a cat who has trapped a mouse in a corner, and already drawn blood but holds off on it's final bounce to watch its victim panic in the anticipation of it. Or I was just being bat shit paranoid again, and turned casual eye contact with a stranger trying to eat a snack into something awful.

It is gothic, but not horror even though it does have a few chills, romance but not sappy, fantastical but not escapist power and admiration. The Night Circus so far has been a pleasant surprise. Regardless of how it ends I can say the opening has been worth the read. I'd say Erin Morgenstern's writing in this book reminds me of at times the bittersweetness
