Then I nearly got blown off the Albert Bridge, it was round about that time that things started becoming slightly more coherrent. I had broken up with my girlfriend,no going back, that was it.
Was she going to be ok?
Was I ok?
Did I do the right thing?
Why could I taste blood in my mouth?
So as my umbrella took flight somewhere into the dark ionisphere of belfast and I land with a thud in the gushing street, I caught myself making another realisation. This is the worst it can ever get, I am wet and cold and completely confused but I now realise that this can be seen as some very twisted baptism.
