I hate smoking. I personally think that it should be banned in the United States. Getting FDA regulation is the key. Smoking makes everyone's health care more expensive, public and private. It's simply ridiculous.
Here is a good charity who has Internet petitions on occasion: http://www.tobaccofreekids.org/ .
Please stay out of harm's way as best you can.
