Well, it's never really been said before- but I think I'm starting be too nice of a guy. I had a pass to some box seats to go see Alkaline Trio tomorrow night and I gave them up. Why? Because a friend of mine is having life issues, and she wants to meet up for coffee. To be honest, I just wanted to tell her to toughen up and deal with it. But no, instead I sacrificed seeing one of my favorite bands to "help a friend out". Argh.
Beyond that; today has been a pretty mellow day. I got a TON of housekeeping done and all my laundry. Went through some of my boxes of stuff and found some old pictures. Do you ever do that- just randomly find something and it takes you back years? Like I said- maybe I'm turning into a softie. After that I decided to head down to Dempsey's to have a cocktail. I hopped on the DRZ and rode down. For the 4th of June in Southern California, it's chilly as hell after dark right now.
Stupid me, I forgot about the NBA Finals, Game 1 tonight. So the freaking place was packed, I had to poach a stool and post up by the pool tables. Got myself a jack & coke, and proceeded to TRY and relax. I quickly learned that wasn't going to be a possibility tonight. So I put the bottom to the roof and went home.
That puts me right here, writin this little blog. Ladies- give me some advice here. Do I go to the show or do I do the nice guy thing? Aaaaargh.....
