Congrats! I really wanted to relocate to CA for grad school, but couldn't find a good Art Ed program there. I am so jealous! What will you be focussing on there?

Also, my plans for this weekend are pretty tentative. I could do Saturday night? I was thinking of going to Cut & Pate Boston, but I could skip it for some drinks etc. I live in Cambridge, but I'm up for anything anywhere.

Oddly enough - I'm pretty pumped about the World Baseball Classic this year.

I often find myself wishing I had a tape recorder or video cam while riding the train. I will definitely check out some of Maysles' work. Generally the only documentaries I watcher are nerdy discover/learning/history channel stuff. I've taken a lot of film/animation classes, but have somehow missed out on documentaries entirely.

I'd be down for a beverage of some kind in the near future.
