Watched an interesting show about the science of Gaia the other day. One scientist didnt want to entertain a certain notion because it would involve accepting the existance of an aspect of reality that could not be measured. That is exactly what I needed to hear. That is what being intelligent and level headed means to the man of understanding. To ignore what could destroy ones foundations. The phrase whats so practical about being level headed comes to mind (from Trust). To some that makes no sense, to others it makes enough.
I actually made a soup from scratch the other day. Made the stock as well. Cauliflower, Spinache, and Leek soup Its a bit greener than I expected. Also, I dont know if I washed the leaves properly, as there was some grit, and I didnt realize I was supposed to strain the vegetable stock so there were some backtracking involved. Still, this is how to make soup, you know, by doing it badly, instead of by studying the essence of soup to no end.
