So the tattoo didn't workout. The artist and I had a disagreement of mamouth proportions at the last minute. Miscommunication is a motherfucker. It boiled down to the fact that we both had different ideas about how long I'd be sitting and that this discrepancy was a bigger deal than I had thought it would be. So well, c'est la vie, mais non?
So I'm back here at school in good ol' m'dub. RA training and whatnot, it's been fairly cool thus far. I thought there would be more friction on my staff then there really is, we've got lots of religious diversity (sort of): 7th Day Adventist, Fundamental Evangelical Christian, Catholic, Episcopal, None Specific (x2) and myself brining up the Buddhist perspective. It hasn't turned out to be that bad, we're just sort of staying away from topics we know we're all passionate about in different driections.
So I might end up getting a smaller tattoo just to slake my desire for one. The phoenix was going to be huge and now it's not going to happen so I still have all this energy saved up for getting one. We'll see what I can find, maybe I'll get some swallows on the front of my shoulders I always thought those looked pretty cool.
