Garg, yet another rough day at work. Starting the forensics portion of a project I've been working on this past week though, very pleased to be able to drift into my own world and leave the office behind.
For those who read comics, Snikt! #2 came out today, and still blows donkey nuts. The art was better, but the story hasn't really progressed any from the first issue aside from minor (or boring) details. On the upside, Wolverine Exile has it's cool points. I feel the story didn't really end well, but the first two issues (of 5) left a lot of room for it to go in cool directions.
Yes, I am a Wolverine fan. As a general rule I like anything by Frank Miller (Sin City, Daredevil, Batman, etc.) I really enjoy the Kabuki series by David Mack. I follow Lone Wolf 2100, some Wolverine, trying to get into Hellboy, maybe some more.
I feel obliged to share more about myself. I did the Goth thing from Middle school on into freshman year of HS. Afterwords, I did the obscenely large pants skater / raver gig up until I graduated. And I was still at that point up until the day my knee cap was shattered for me by one of my best friends. That pretty much put an end to the whole notion of tripping over your pants once in a while is ok. Now, I'm in limbo.
While I have made the argument againts labels and stereotypes, and all that jazz I feel they serve a valid purpose in this context. Really, how deeply can you know someone from a journal on a website which features naked girls? In any event:
Green: "I'm not going to wait for this man to expose me, so I choose to expose myself!"
Mustard: "Please! There are ladies present!"
Bob: "I am a heterosexual and a Rivethead."
Hrm, perhaps I had left out that detail. I go by "Bob", socially. There are issues which surround that, so soon perhaps that will change.
On the music front, I have diverse tastes. The bands I'm currently listening to are Terrorfakt, Wumpscut, Funker Vogt, and the Dave Brubcek Quartet. Inside my stomping exterior, beneath the layer of man fur, there lies, yes, a jazz coneseur. I was in Jazz band back in High School, still play my Saxophone regularly, it's just something I love.
Current Events: Alchemy tomorrow night (w00t!). More forensics tomorrow at work. This weekend traveling down to Fredericksburg (Fred Vegas as I call it) to see a friend just back from study abroad. Looking forward to working more on my outfit for Goth prom, carving, generally indulding my artistic side this weekend. Also planning out what I'm going to have my pseudo NOC look like at my pop's place.

P.S. - I can't spell worth a damn! That or I'm a bad typist. Hrm.
