yeah, vegans are mostly smelly hippies or fucking trendster emo kids but i actually have a good reason, i had cancer a couple years ago, i've been in remission for a bit but i cant really eat that kind of crap. i was a fucking steakavore before so i get cravings that i really just cant ignore & then i go and eat big macs and supersize fries like a starving somalian, shoveling into my face with little kids pointing and crying and getting scared. ..ok fine maybe it wasnt that dramatic but it was awesome.
i just got to the central coast. i love the beach, the ocean, the fog but i miss la everyday. just getting knocked around in a dirty little bar while a band i've never heard of plays, walking around the streets, stepping over sleeping and homeless shadows, i know its tacky, gawdy and cultureless but i fucking love la.

the thing that is hard for me is that i am not trying to make a living off my writing but i do want to get it out there. would you feel satisfied with writing a song that no one ever heard? but to get my stuff out there i need to fuck with the whole business aspect of it. sorry work is shitty lately for you. i think i would have suffocated if i had taught for much longer. the scope of the suffering and the enormity of the problems that i saw everyday haunted me so far past the 3 o clock bell that supposedly released me from responsibility. but your music will save you. my writing did.
