God motherfucking, fuckity, fuck, fuck damn!!!!!!!!!

My band has been drummerless for quite some time....over a year without a steady full-time drummer. A replacements here and there but nothing we could really hang our hat on. We started playing with this guy that was absolutely perfect....he understood what we were trying to do, made writing new songs really easy, wasn't looking to do much touring (we had one guy that just wanted to tour full-time).....but he bowed out of the project today. Said he really enjoyed it but he doesn't have a lot of time so he's not going to join a band unless it's the perfect situation...I understand this and I don't think he's bullshitting us or anything but it really sucks. We still have 'til the winter when our album comes out but this is wearing me out....fuck!

I can't play guitar now...I can't listen to music now...it's all very depressing. You care about a project so much....you think you're finally starting to make some progress with it and do the kind of things you should have been doing with it from day one and then nothing. It's very much like breaking up with someone your dating in a kick to the gut sort of way.
