So...I have this roommate that likes to sleep on the couch every night and then get up at some point in the middle of the night to go to bed...doesn't sound like a big deal but it's pretty annoying. Maybe I don't have enough asshole streak in me but when he falls to sleep on the couch (usually before I go to bed) he's usually on top of the remote or if I'm not in a tv mood he's asleep so I avoid anything that makes any sort of noise. I have another roommate that shops on ebay at least 10 hours a day yet doesn't buy a single thing. Weird! Why can't I just get a huge pay raise and kick everyone out and live by myself? I live in a great loft (for a musician that is). I get to make all the noise I want, have tons of space a nice deck etc but it's hard finding good roomates. The only friend of mine that I'd really want to move in won't because it's too far away from work.

my husband is the only person i know that had a relatively healthy upbringing, which in turn has made him a relatively healthy adult, thus helping me to have a rosier outlook on things.
