I just wanted to thank everyone for wishing me a happy birthday. I think it was the first time I actually went to a bar on my birthday though I was only there for an hour or two. Being Irish and born on st. patrick's day, bars can get really annoying with everyone getting drunk and sporting their worst brogues so I just avoid the whole thing.

I haven't really been around here much. My computer died so I'm borrowing my girlfriends. Work has really sucked...we're about to go on strike and I'm not exactly happy with my union and their decisions. I grew in a strong union house so I feel really conflicted. My band has been going really well. One of our old drummers is back and he brought a friend from one of his old bands with him so we're going to be starting this project as a whole new entitiy. The songs we've been coming with are really good but I'm still in a song writing funk. The new guitarist has been writing all the new stuff but I just wish I was contributing more since I used to write everything. The new songs have a lot more depth to them since I can go in and add all sorts of textures so it has a bit more of a Isis/Neurosis/Mogwai vibe to it.

I also just wanted to add that if you haven't checked out Wendy's new set it simply amazing. Not since Adahlia has there been someone on here that is achingly so beautiful...literally!
