I love my local library.
Been reading "the dark is rising" series by Susan Cooper. written in the 70s with kids as the protagonists. An amalgam of mystery, fantasy, history, old magic and myths of the celts. Takes place in england which I have never been to.
But one of the things I have found fascinating about Britain is that their ancient history is pretty...

work again tomorrow. I am looking forward to it as a condemned man sees the noose. It's not all that bad, but I really need to prepare, do laundry, buy food etc. And I am not doing that. I finished my book and I should go bring it back to the library. It is a nice sunny day. Why is it always like that when...

I had a fab time last night. I got to wear my corset/ big flashy skirt ensemble that I love. At first it was a bit of a sausagefest what with the fashion show and all. We were outside waiting on line the guy in front of me and I caught eyes for a sec and I just smiled absentmindedly and then he reached out...

I'm off to a masquerade party.
well, I am almost off-to my friends house where we will prepare to go to the masquerade party. I asked iot there was a time that they wanted to leave, bcse I am bringing all these clothes to figure out what to wear, and they said "No, no, it's all about the process." That's why I love these folks....

I was going to wear a silly hat tonight, but then I thought everyone would think, "Why's diggity acting like someone he ain't?" Ya, I need costume friends, who aren't drama kids.

I promise, body, that I am not going to do any more mosaic in just a minute. I know you need sleep and I know I have unrealistic ideas of what I am actually going to accomplish before work tomorrow. Thankfully work starts in the afternoon, but that is not much of a boon since it ends at 10 pm and the next gig is...

I'm the same way. I get started on projects and I don't want to stop. I'll go withought food and drink for days, be dead tired, my back will be killing me, fingers bleeding and various cuts and bruises everywhere. I LOVE IT!! so much fun.

I just finished doing some yoga. I'm doing a lot of gymnastics this quarter and yoga is the perfect complimentary exercise.

There's a theater festival here through my department called "Site Pacific" that does really awesome site specific performances, and in my movement class our teacher has us do a number of site performance projects. I love this sort of performance. Last year I did a group project with a bunch of girls about loss of innocence in this really cool building on campus, and it was so awesome to see random passers-by stop, mesmerized by our performance.

Here I am, staying awake when the best thing for me to do is sleep. I had a long weekend and my body needs the rest to get through the week or else I will be hating life. But I hate life anyway so what's the big deal?
Ha ha.
I cannot find my keys. I have yet to go through my whole laundry basket...I...

your new profile rocks my world. its so creative and funny and it actually _describes_ you hahaha. nice, i wish there was some way to put a comma after the "why" but british humor just doesn't translate well without the dialect even under the best of circumstances
Im gonna push for a better water heater soon. prolly right after reflooring the kitchen next month. haven't seen the keys. last time i saw them they were carabeenered on to your bike's milk crate thinger

Went to an event called the "lap dance exchange". I didn't even think I was going out tonight and then I was looking at my room and my projects I am working on and thought. " I have to get out of here" So I went, with no plans to actually participate.
Of course, I participated. I was trying to figure out what music I...

Today, through a series of circumstances that are too annoying to go into, ( Basically I was reminded by life to check my schedule so I know if I don't HAVE to wake up at 6:30 am) I was on a bus going to a friend's house. I was angry, tired, pissed and...

Don't kick yourself. I would have looked away, too. And it wouldn't have even occured to me to get off the bus. I, personally, wouldn't fixate on this one boy. Go out and meet more, keeping in mind that you made this guy's day just by looking at him with interest. Rawr!

I saw Winged Migration last night. It was stupendous. Beautiful, entrancing, funny, scary, sad. I would like to go see it again.
The over arching feeling I have( and it brings tears to my eyes even now) is severe regret that we are destroying everything around us so fast, with no consideration for the rest of the living things on this planet. With these birds, the...
