hey, who ate all my ice cream? I KNOW I didn't eat 2 pints on my own.

frown frown frown
----I would just like to add that I realized, as I am listening to my computer read them, that there is a large preponderance of sg dreams in my friend's journals...
hmmmm.

I promise, body, that I am not going to do any more mosaic in just a minute. I know you need sleep and I know I have unrealistic ideas of what I am actually going to accomplish before work tomorrow. Thankfully work starts in the afternoon, but that is not much of a boon since it ends at 10 pm and the next gig is...

I'm the same way. I get started on projects and I don't want to stop. I'll go withought food and drink for days, be dead tired, my back will be killing me, fingers bleeding and various cuts and bruises everywhere. I LOVE IT!! so much fun.

I just finished doing some yoga. I'm doing a lot of gymnastics this quarter and yoga is the perfect complimentary exercise.

There's a theater festival here through my department called "Site Pacific" that does really awesome site specific performances, and in my movement class our teacher has us do a number of site performance projects. I love this sort of performance. Last year I did a group project with a bunch of girls about loss of innocence in this really cool building on campus, and it was so awesome to see random passers-by stop, mesmerized by our performance.

Here I am, staying awake when the best thing for me to do is sleep. I had a long weekend and my body needs the rest to get through the week or else I will be hating life. But I hate life anyway so what's the big deal?
Ha ha.
I cannot find my keys. I have yet to go through my whole laundry basket...I...

your new profile rocks my world. its so creative and funny and it actually _describes_ you hahaha. nice, i wish there was some way to put a comma after the "why" but british humor just doesn't translate well without the dialect even under the best of circumstances
Im gonna push for a better water heater soon. prolly right after reflooring the kitchen next month. haven't seen the keys. last time i saw them they were carabeenered on to your bike's milk crate thinger

Went to an event called the "lap dance exchange". I didn't even think I was going out tonight and then I was looking at my room and my projects I am working on and thought. " I have to get out of here" So I went, with no plans to actually participate.
Of course, I participated. I was trying to figure out what music I...

Finally I can get to the internet! mad
OK I need some opinions...
Today, through a series of circumstances that are too annoying to go into, ( Basically I was reminded by life to check my schedule so I know if I don't HAVE to wake up at 6:30 am) I was on a bus going to a friend's house. I was angry, tired, pissed and...

Don't kick yourself. I would have looked away, too. And it wouldn't have even occured to me to get off the bus. I, personally, wouldn't fixate on this one boy. Go out and meet more, keeping in mind that you made this guy's day just by looking at him with interest. Rawr!

I saw Winged Migration last night. It was stupendous. Beautiful, entrancing, funny, scary, sad. I would like to go see it again.
The over arching feeling I have( and it brings tears to my eyes even now) is severe regret that we are destroying everything around us so fast, with no consideration for the rest of the living things on this planet. With these birds, the...

OK. I am really out of the loop, I see that now. Since when did Bijou leave? She was my first favorite and my first 3 photos in my fave pics. They are gone now! It's true, I lapsed in keeping up with her, last I saw she was in Thailand, and I didn't just want to put her on my friends list bcse I...

Yeah, yeah, so what do you want - a medal? But seriously, Eris was one of the people that made this site work for me, politically. I haven't figured out entirely how I feel about objectification and money and erotica and porn so I want to listen to others thoughts on the subject. Hers was a voice that helped me navigate these tricky waters...anyway...i hope your hands feel better.
bombshellbetty:
Straddle stretch? That sure sounds painful! You know, the only time I stretch and it actually feels good is after I've been dancing like a maniac for a while and the music is still in my blood. Know what I'm talking about?

If I put on music and start dancing like a freak in the living room, will you dance with me? Or should I keep it out of sight?

ah, funny love.
Thanks to papawheelie for the link.
I am going outside now.

ok, I wish there was a function so that people's journals could be _read_ to me, so I can go about my business and still hear what is happening with everyone. Isn't that possible yet?

The Cap'n

Profile: Some men are born great, some achieve greatness and some slit the throats of any man that stands between them and the mantle of power. You never met a man you couldn't eviscerate. Not that mindless violence is the only avenue open to you - but why take an avenue when you have complete freeway access? You are the definitive Man of Action. You are James Bond in a blousy shirt and drawstring-fly pants. Your swash was buckled long ago and you have never been so sure of anything in your life as in your ability to bend everyone to your will. You will call anyone out and cut off their head if they show any sign of taking you on or backing down. You cannot be saddled with tedious underlings, but if one of your lieutenants shows an overly developed sense of ambition he may find more suitable accommodations in Davy Jones' locker. That is, of course, IF you notice him. You tend to be self absorbed - a weakness that may keep you from seeing enemies where they are and imagining them where they are not.

I think mine is wrong. :-/
papawheelie:
you know, I tried to handle that situation with composure but honestly I just about blew a gasket....

Haven't had a drink since sunday!
yay! Think I'll celebrate...just kidding.
Yeah, It's time for me to straighten up and fly right for a little while. I had a few puffs off a cigarette today and I am still doing caffeine and sugar. God, what do you think I am, crazy? Just thought I would give the old liver a break from the constant need...

For crying out loud, woman, the world is your goddamn stage!!! When it comes down to it, just close the curtains, put on some music that makes your blood sing and dance!

I was feeling apathetic this afternoon and I put on some gypsy music and did just that. Nothing is more guaranteed to get the old juices flowing...

My friend and I want to start a place/time kinda thing, especially for directly after burning man that we can go to to coninute feeling connected, even just for a few hours a day, or something, a place with couches so we can all curl up and sleep, and tables so if you are one of those super energized people coming off the playa with...

I go through phases of not replying, too. It _is_ a good sign. You really make me wanna go to Burning Man. I never have. Hmmm.

I'm gonna use that line next time someone asks me what nationality I am. They do that all the time, and it annoys me.

I have such a sick appreciation for the dust, that I actually have put on something unwashed and dusty, just to smell it all day. it's not dirty. Just dusty. mmmm.
I dunno if these words are the same experience as looking at pics for those who have never been. You can look at the pics but you can't fill in the rest of it....

I wish I could've gone, I am planning to go next year though. I could not help but notice your comment on Manu Chao, I didn't think too many people were into spanish rock or anything of the sort around here (I love it, it's great stuff, different feel to it from anything we produce here in the states), that's great! Just wanted to say that.
= )
noelani:
You will never get rid of the playa dust. You wash and wash, it'll still be dusty.

Glad you had fun.
