It's prob. a good idea to chill until the weekend and give the body a break. I'm kinda hurtin' this morning from the makers last night, but a steamy shower and a few Excedrin and I think I'll be fine. (I'd better be... I need a job fast!)

Hope your ice cream was as tastey as it sounded. I'm trying to find some mint chocolate chip. I'm sort of craving it...

I don't do a lot of sweets, but when I do, I go way overboard with things like apple pie and cinn. ice cream, or tiramisu.... *sigh* Good stuff...

I'm going to go to a park tomorrow. I haven't even planned which one. I'm just going to pick a direction and go till I find a park.

"take time" in particular sounds gamalan-y, to me. a professor at UNC has put together a gamalan orchestra, with beautiful gongs, and i've gone to see them rehearse a couple times...so good, especially when this Javanese string player plays with them. he's brilliant. anyway, it was nice here today, too.

it's funny. when i heard the album, i thought you would like it. why? it just came to mind. i think it was talk of choreography, dntel, and bman that lead to that thought, subconsciously...? their first album is longer and great, but more dadaist with less orchestration. "lemon of pink" makes me think of Javan gamelon. "Thought for food" makes me think "super smart deejays on shrooms."

hmmmm, I've never had that, but I do have a lost article of clothing mystery....so I had this pair of boot cut blue jeans that were button-fly. I put them in the washing machine, and went out. This was in high school when I still lived at home, by the way. When I came home my laundry was all dry in a basket. I wanted to wear my jeans, so I fished them out and put them on. They were boot cut blue jeans, but a different brand and they were zipper fly. My mom said all she did was take the laundry from the washer and put it in the dryer, and then put that in the laundry basket. I asked every one of my friend if the new mystery pants were theirs. They weren't. My button fly jeans have been gone forever since then, and nobody claimed ownership of the zipper fly ones. So I adopted them. But I still can't help but wonder...WHAT THE FUCK? Where did my jeans go? Where did the new ones come from?

do they cancel each other out and make for an average week?

Sheesh, I should have replied earlier. Yeah, I'll be around Thursday, but only after noon. We will probably have juice on hand for another two weeks...
