Okay another mindless rant. Is perception reality?
I would argue that yes it is and this is my reasoning for believing it to be the truth. Now take into account that you can argue that the grass is green and the sky is blue etc. Those names exist because we named them that color and color comes from what we call it etc. What if you are color blind and can't see that color ? Is it really red? Well to someone with full visual abilities yes but if everyone was color blind then no it isn't. IN truth it is red but we would not be able to see it fully and therefore to us the reality is that it isn't red. Now back when people thought the world was flat it really wasn't flat but you'd be hard pressed to get them on a ship and get them to sail past a certain point. They got pretty vehement about not going past a certain point till someone actually did it.
So what am I getting at ? We observe reality and make recorded observations about it and then if it continues with the same behavior call it a law or a truism, etc. What if one day it just suddenly does exactly what it isn't supposed to do? Then what ? Then we have to rethink what we've already thought and redefine. But until that time our perception from what we have observed tells us that this is reality.

So you're saying that reality is not always truth but only what we see as true?
