The weather in Chicago has been really tollerable over the last couple of weeks. However, I know this is only a trick before hitting me with the paralyzing arctic desolation that is winter in Chicago. It's strange, I grew up in this town, but I can't take the winters here anymore. Living in Portland must have weakened my resistance to cold. Not that winter in PDX is any better-- the bottom line is that winters in Portland depress the shit out of me, while winters in Chicago actively piss me off. Maybe being angry is better (I probably get more done).
