I'm having a perfectly fine X-Mas eve, thank you very much. Was down at the Grand-rent's house on da sout side of Chicago. Got the DVD player I wanted and there were no fights, so all is good. (OK, one at the end, but no big deal.) I've got an Armangac glow from the after-dinner drinks and posting aroung the SG boards is just my speed.
Tomorrow, I'll spend the morning lazing around the apt. by myself (one of my favorite things to do Christmas day) and go the the Dad's later for more presents and Christmas dinner. Great menu this time: an amuse bouche of caviar and quail's egg, a composed cheese course, lobster remoulade, and strip roast with fingerling potatoes. The dad puts out a good spread, there's no question.
