Last night, a gig for a co-worker. Planned on going home after to get some sleep but wandered into the Crobar instead. Cool -- ran into a guy I met a year ago when I was out here, and hadn't seen in months. He's from Chicago originally, and is planning on getting out of London and moving to LA as well, along with his band. Cool. We're already plotting our takeover of LA. Gotta show the squares who's really in charge.

Drinking that Bloody Mary on his advice was a bad idea, though. I can still taste it, and I feel ill.

I'm off today for Belgium, Germany, probably Prague, and who knows where else? Not taking my camera; I hate carrying extra stuff around. If I was smart when I bought it, I would have bought a little skinny one, but I got a big fat honker of a camera, thinking I'd want to take good pictures, when shitty ones would suffice perfectly. Oh, well.
