the polyphonic spree was simply amazing last night. that was one of the best live shows i've ever seen. fucking dallas, represent! they encored with a cover of "five years," which rocked.
post-show drinking solo at estelle's. sat down, and before i ordered my first drink, "five years" came on the jukebox. i love that kind of thing. hot bartendress working. got started talking to this other dude next to me that was drinking solo as well. bartender asked if i was ready for a shot, i said sure, and hit this dude up as well, so she did, on the house. then some friends of his came in about 30 seconds later and bought us another round of shots. oboi. glad i had a burger right before that. yeah, the kick ass chef dude was in last night, too, so bad ass food accompanying the drinking.
