My God, I haven't updated in forever
Well, I haven't been around computers much.
I absolutely whipped everyone's ass at this big catered dinner I had to do at school last week. I got applauded by a room full of other cooks, which ain't easy to pull off
My final exam is in 2 weeks, and graduation is a week after that. Then I travel Europe and the States til about mid-August (more or less), then settle in LA to live and work.
Weird.
Saw some weird shit last night that excited me about writing, but I don't have time at the moment. Definitely the kind of thing I love to see, celebrate the weirdness, but I have to run to work now.
Maybe later.

Okay, it's later.
First of all, before I get to the weirdness, I just realized that I desperately need a new pic of myself, since I have lost weight and grown hair. That picture's been up for about a year, and it's just boring now. Well, we'll see.
So here we go:
I'm walking down the street last night, around midnight, in a busy well-populated street at the top of Carnaby Street on my way to the Crobar, and I see this couple walking ahead of me. The girl is sobbing hysterically, and the guy is all battered and bloody on the face. He's screaming at her, "But I just got mugged! That's the THING! THAT'S THE FUCKING *THING*!" I thought about stopping to see if I could help, but figured that there wasn't anything I could actually do to help them.
So I wander on to the Crobar and have a few beers. About 2.30, just before they close, this cute little punky girl walks in with a straight cut across her cheek and blood running down her face. She waltzes over to the bar next to me and orders a beer, seemingly oblivious to the slash below her eye. Damean wipes her face off and puts a plaster over the cut, and she just goes about drinking her beer. Then she starts chatting to me, bitching about how she just got all this blood on her brand-new t-shirt. She never mentioned what the cut was from.
And this, folks, is why I love living in the city. Maybe you get it, maybe you don't, but without that kind of weird random shit, I would wither and die.
I hope LA is as fucked up as the rest of the places I've lived.
