what a great fucking show. the opening band, wisconsin local act Bleed, was pretty good; the paybacks were astounding, even better than the night before in chicago, and the bellrays, whose recordings don't do much for me, were also just fanfuckingtastic.
all 4 of those cats in the paybacks are fucking champs ... i talked to all of them at least a little, and they're really just great people: super friendly, super appreciative of their fans, all of it.
i got a hug and i got blown a kiss. i have a new crush.
