Sunday started out good
Took it easy Saturday night, woke up earlyish (around 10, i think), went down to Camden to shop for a new jacket, bought a kick ass new ring, was drinking water by the litre bottle, and then ran into Aosoth and Adam73 as they were outside a pub drinking in the cold rain (and getting their picture taken by tourists), so I joined them. We were eventually smart enough to move to a table inside, instead of sitting miserably in the wet cold, and ended up pubbin' it for like 7 hours. I eventually went back and got this jacket I saw that I liked. It says "Mighty Texx" on it, so I pretty much had to get it. Check it:
And the back:
After they surrendered to my superior drinking prowess, I went to Garlics to see Jeanette and Arthur ... but Jeanette wasn't there. She tripped the night before and landed with her hand on a pint glass ... I haven't seen the gash, but from what I was told, it's quite bad. I would imagine so.
So I had a couple beers and talked to Arthur and Jeff for a while, then wandered home, an early night, as I had to get up at 7.30 this morning.
That's when things turned bad. I was tired and happy, not drunk and just barely getting buzzed. About 11.30, I was just about to go to bed, when my flatmate came home spannered with a friend of hers, and they sat up watching awful music videos and chattering like squirrels until 4am, despite the repeated reminders I kept giving them that I needed to get up at 7.30. I think her friend felt bad, but Mel was too drunk to give a shit -- she thought it was funny or cute or something that I was getting irritated / angry, and that just made it worse.
Ugh.
Anyways, I got up at 7.30, got all my stuff squared away on my new flat, signed the contract, paid deposit and first month's rent, and I move in tomorrow after school. Yep, last night in this joint is happening right now. I'm gonna pack in a bit.
I dunno if they have an active net connection at the new place or not. Rachel said they had broadband, but I dunno if anyone but her was using it, and she's the one I'm replacing. Worst case, I'm offline for a few days. Best case, I can just plug in and go. We'll see. I'll survive, regardless.
Short day at school tomorrow -- just one class, 1-4pm. Rad.
