got the new outburn magazine yesterday, issue #20. has AFI on the cover. they did an article on my indie label (accidental sirens) and even put in a picture of my business partner and i. stoked. magazine has a circulation of about 20,000, so it should be pretty decent publicity for us.

put some christmas money to good use today. bought a new bowling ball and some bowling shoes. went to the meridian for brunch, watched the steelers come back and beat cleveland.
going bowling tonight with the usual suspects. i'm going to suck with the new ball. it's heavier and is more dramatically weighted for spin. i gave it a couple tryout games earlier and sucked bad. it has so much more hook than my other ball that i kept landing it in the gutter about 5 feet in front of the pins. going to take some serious adjusting.

not as bad as i feared, but i still sucked. dropped almost 20 points from my regular avg with the new ball. bonus is, the new grip it's drilled for is a lot easier on my fingers.

had a cool shirt too...in fact it might still be in my closet. made from some material that would surely rage into flames at any hint of heat.
