So yesterday, I got phone calls from my ex-wife and an ex-girlfriend.

At any rate, the ball for school in London is rolling along. I may have to go out there early for some kind of skills test or a sort of slam course to make sure my skills are at the right level for the last course of my degree. Fine and dandy.

Worked a fun little catering gig for Wolfgang Puck this weekend; Mr. Puck himself was, of course, not in attendance, but it was a pretty fun event. Afterwards, ran off to the bar to have a couple drinks, somehow started talking to a girl and her boyfriend and it turns out she's the nanny for the chef I was working under, and he's looking for dependable people to work events on a more regular basis, so I gave her my name and number and she's going to throw in a good word. Serendipity.

How many of you thought that Kentucky Derby last weekend was a little too storybook? Makes me wonder if horse racing is like boxing .... but that's an evil thought, that such a huge gambling event would be rigged like that. Impossible, right? Of course.
