today was really disorienting.
i got up at 6am (after about 3 hours sleep), caught a plane back to dallas, got out of the airport here around noon, went to eat lunch, went home and dropped off my stuff, went to the office, ran through email and SG, ran some errands, almost fell asleep at the wheel on the freeway, back to the studio to take a nap, woke up around 8.30p and went to the meridian room. was still a little groggy when i walked in, and the place was absolutely packed. i mean, it's rarely that packed even on weekends, and this was monday. i thought i had time traveled to saturday or something. had some dinner and a drink, jen b. from the old monk bought me a shot, talked to ermey and his lady friend for a while, jab came in and also bought me a shot, deadite was there and i talked to him some, then the place mysteriously emptied out. when jab and i left (before closing, even) there was not a single customer left in the bar.
and it's still raining outside.

can't remember the last time i left a bar before they stopped serving. my memory is a little fuzzy. hmm...

Good to finally meet you in person last night. Sounds like you had a pretty full day. I think they must have let all the college kids go on break, maybe that explains why it was so packed.
